Fastest Corner in the Northwest         Motorcycle Racing in the Pacific Northwest :1910-2002
March 2 -September 2, 2002

For this exhibit we assembled a unique collection of machines, photographs, and memorabilia featuring nearly a century of prominent racers from the Pacific Northwest. Many types of racing were included, from early board track racing represented by a 1908 Indian, through endurance runs, speedway and drag racing, to a 1999 Suzuki GSXR road racer. The Death Head Derby was featured with a 1957 Matchless, and the original trophy dating from the 1930's. For the off-roaders there were flat track, motocross, hill climb, and even an ice racing machine.

The Museum of History and Industry, Pacific Northwest Museum of Motorcycling, and private donors collaborated to create this exhibit. Please visit MoHaI online at:  http://seattlehistory.org
